| The
awe-inspiring Milan Cathedral is the 3rd largest cathedral in the
world, and a fantastic example of gothic Italian architecture. Containing
the largest collection of marble statues in the world, it took almost
200 years to build, started in the 14th century and completed in
the 16th.
The famous Santa Maria delle Grazie church holds one of the most
famous paintings of all time – Da Vinci’s “The
Last Supper”. There are frequent tours, and we recommend you
book as soon as possible, it is understandably one of the most sought
after sights in the city.
If you’d like to experience a meal in Milan in a slightly
less usual manner, book a table for dinner on a tramcar. Your vintage
tramcar will take you on a journey where you can see many interesting
views from your window, while enjoying your meal! Some of the sights
you will see include Arco della Pace, the Duomo and Colonne di San
Lorenzo. Make sure you book your tickets well in advance; this is
a very popular ride!
Of
course, Milan is famous for fashion, so there is no shortage of
exclusive boutiques for you to browse through if that is your desire.
Take home some genuine Italian couture!
One thing is for sure - you will be immersed in history, culture,
beautiful architecture and an outstanding atmosphere wherever you
